NOIZEGATE MUSIC MAGAZINE AWARDS

Theocracy and Matt Smith won one category each in the Swedish magazine Noizegate Music's 2011 Awards: "Best Foreign Heavy Metal" to Theocracy and "Best Songwriter" to Matt. Congratulations, guys!

THEOCRACY YOUTUBE CONTEST WINNERS

Finally it's time to announce the winners in the YouTube contest!

"Wow! You guys made it almost impossible to pick a winner. Fantastic work all around, and thanks so much for your entries--every one of them made us smile, and we were so impressed with all your talent! Everyone in the band seemed to have a different favorite, but after much debate the winner is... FRANCESCO ROMEGGINI!!!

Congrats, Francesco! There were so many great guitar entries in particular, but Francesco did such a great job on Val's solo that everyone agreed he was a great choice. Thanks again to all who submitted entries, and keep rockin'!"

It wasn't the easiest task to decide the winner for the second prize either since there were a couple of creative and funny submissions. But after some thinking and debates we can announce that the winner is... JENNIFER GRASSMAN!

YOUTUBE CONTEST - HONORABLE MENTION

It's been really hard to choose the winners in the YouTube contest since we received so many great submissions. We think we've made our decision now though, and we'll present the two winners later this week!

In the meantime we want to give an honorable mention to a submission that won't be one of the winners, but a submission we thought was incredibly funny.

JAPANESE RELEASE OF "AS THE WORLD BLEEDS" ANNOUNCED

The Japanese label King Records will release the Theocracy album "As The World Bleeds" in Japan on April 25th. The Japanese edition will include two bonus tracks; "I'm in a Cage [Neal Morse cover]" and "Martyr [Live in the Studio]".

THEOCRACY YOUTUBE CONTEST

Theocracy and their label Ulterium Records have announced a contest that will be open until April 1st.

Record a video of yourself when playing or singing the Theocracy track "30 Pieces of Silver" and upload it to YouTube. It's definitely OK to have the original track playing in the video, as long as we can still hear you. Send a link to the video to contest@ulterium-records.com to be included in the contest

The contest will be open until April 1st, and then Theocracy and Ulterium Records will decide two winners, that will receive the following prices;

#1 The winner
- "As The World Bleeds" CD [signed]
- "As The World bleeds" double gatefold vinyl edition [signed]
- A Theocracy t-shirt of your choice
- Contest video posted at the official Theocracy website and facebook

#2 The outsider [the funniest, most creative video/addition]
